BASF SE is a well-known German chemical giant and one of the largest chemical plants in the world. The BASF Zhanjiang integrated base under construction is a comprehensive chemical production base and is BASF's largest overseas investment project so far, with an estimated total investment of up to US$10 billion.

The supporting public and auxiliary facilities constructed in the first phase of the project include a set of wastewater treatment equipment. This equipment is customized by BASF, and Sedum Environmental Technology provides it with design solutions, manufacturing and post-service services. The main water environment pollutants in the plant area mainly include CODCr, BOD5, petroleum, NH3-N, volatile phenol, etc., which are discharged into the municipal sewage pipe network of the park after the wastewater treatment reaches the standard.

In the design and manufacturing process of the integrated sewage treatment equipment, regardless of material selection, manufacturing process, personnel qualifications, quality inspection standards and on-site construction, it must strictly follow the manufacturing requirements of BASF's global unified high-standard quality system, and the product quality and performance are consistent.
